In good news, we’ve now received all the funds needed to build our final infrastructure project - the Trade and Arts Centre. Located at the Anosibe CLC, the centre will be a shared space for both schools to help train senior students in skills and crafts, equipping them for life after graduation. Now it’s on to plans and permits!

Our socials have been quiet but our schools have been busy as normal. Educating over 700 students each week, providing 100+ meals to students who need nutritional support, preparing for national exams - there’s always something to do! Your ongoing support makes a big difference.

Happy 20 year anniversary CLC Anosibe! Too many photos and videos to post but hopefully these ones convey some of what the team felt in the room today. Hearts full of gratitude, joy and anticipation for their future, all made possible by the grave of God and the hard work of all those involved with the CLCs. To many more years!

Time to party! The team had the privilege to attend the 15 year anniversary celebration of CLC Itaosy yesterday. Important dignitaries included the Mayor of Itaosy, delegates from the Ministry of Education and a representative of the National Assemblee de Dieu in Madagascar. But the stars of the day were of course the young people, including the last four years of graduates. Just amazing to see the fruit of their labour and the project’s partnership!

Yesterday, the team set out for a road trip to Ansirabe to meet up with friends of the Project, Ps Tina and Ps Rhindyra. What an incredible couple! They have established an independent school up to Grade 5, with building happening now for an extension to Grade 9. Plus, amazing social enterprises including the production and sale of smokeless charcoal bricks, shampoo, soap, vases, cheese, poultry and more, many from recycled materials. Cheering these guys on!
