A delicious meal, big thank you to our great friends and Rotarians from Granite Belt and Stanthorpe Clubs, Tenterfield Lions Club, Friends of Tenterfield Aerodrome amd Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service - Tenterfield Support Group members. Rob Evans of FOTA presented the club with a photo of appreciation. Special guest DG John Oomen came to celebrate our 80th Changeover Dinner. The Tenterfield Golf Club served their usual high standard meal. Ralph Lee Manser did a fantastic job of being Chair and made the Rotary International toast with a response from Rotary District 9640 Governor John Oomen. The Partners and Guests toast was made by yours truly and responded to by my truly supportive husband Jeffrey Hurley. Outgoing President Frances Overell graciously handed the Rotary leadership of our club to incoming President Beverley Merna McCullough l, being inducted by DG John. The new board was introduced along with a well prepared speech by Bev. A well deserved Community Award was presented to Secretary Karen Tapscott by Frances. Special thanks to everyone who helped, Heather Goulding and Yvonne Horn decorated the room and supplied the flowers and chocolates. As usual our club showed how team effort always wins!

Thank you to everyone who helped out and attended our annual Trivia Night. Funds go towards sending Tenterfield High School students to Driver Awareness Programs in Tamworth. Special thanks to Browns Bros for donating the wood load for the raffle, Val Butler who donated 2 x $50 meat vouchers, James Kelly, MC and judicator, Letitia and Jenny our scorers and Ralph and Lee Manser for the score board. Not forgetting organiser Karen Tapscott and her grandchildren for racing around the room to collect answer sheets! Thank you also to the wonderful team from the Tenterfield Golf Club for all their support and assistance. Rotary's President Frances Overell thanked everyone and explained where the money raised will go. Fantastic night, it always feels like it's a night for friends to catch up!! Tenterfield High School had 2 tables, one of which won!! Wooden Spoon went to.....nah, we'll keep that one quiet! See you next year! Love the fun, friendship and comittment in Rotary!
