Pine Rivers Chamber of Commerce PRCC is the voice of business in our local community. Check our Facebook events for details of our quarterly breakfasts.

The Chamber offers an interactive forum for all local business people and seeks to promote a dynamic and successful business network within the Pine Rivers Area. The Pine Rivers Chamber of Commerce (PRCC) is a small and friendly Chamber of Commerce located in the Strathpine, Lawnton, Brendale, Petrie and surrounding districts of North Brisbane, Australia. We believe supporting free trade is the best way to grow our local economy, create more jobs and raise the living standards of every member of our community. The Committee is run by a team of dedicated volunteers committed to helping local Pine Rivers District businesses achieve their full potential by facilitating local business networking, offering educational opportunities, representing the needs and values of businesses within the community and providing members with opportunities for promotion. We are re-launching in 2021 with our new home base at University of Sunshine Coast (USC), Moreton Bay Campus, Petrie. With qualified guest speakers from a variety of backgrounds, our events are not only educational but a great networking opportunity with many of our local business owners attending. Business, Brews & Better Connections: Awareness Month Edition is a relaxed evening built to connect local businesses with the charities and not-for-profits working in our own community, not just each other. You’ll meet representatives from a range of local charities on the night.

Come along and meet Nourish Street Inc, where Beau shares his own journey through homelessness and a 25-year struggle with addiction to encourage others toward recovery. In the past 10 months alone, he’s helped 13 people seek rehabilitation support.

Running your business solo gets lonely fast, and most of the people who could actually help you don’t know you exist yet. Tomorrow’s Social Networking at Hip Hops Brewers in Brendale fixes that for one relaxed evening. No stage, no pitch deck, just local business owners and a b**r in hand.

This month you’ll also meet The Nest Community , the charity behind The Nest Haberdashery. Since 2014 their volunteers have put in 286,010 hours hand-sorting donated fabric and craft supplies, enough reclaimed fabric to wrap Suncorp Stadium 400 times. They’ve welcomed over 25,000 people a year through their Brendale doors since 2023, and they run a corporate volunteering program called Roll For Good if your team’s looking for a hands-on way to give back.
