This evening at 6pm ACST in Adelaide on Ch44 (Tuesday 7pm AEST Ch31 Melbourne/Geelong) is a remarkable view of the changes facilitated by the NDIS from a provider's perspective. We all of us has heard, almost to the point of exhaustion, about the scheme's problems however most have no idea of the changes being created in society almost exclusively because the NDIS has brought disability to the forefront of conversation and the awareness of those with little to do with the reality.

James Bennett from Evergreen Care appears on this show to speak about how he has seen society change positively due to the advocacy visited by the NDIS. Tune in to hear.

Simultaneously to the broadcast, the show will appear on ctvplus.org.au

The new Episode 37 of 'A New You' screens tonight at 6pm ACST in Adelaide on Ch44 and tomorrow at 7pm AEST on Ch31, simultaneously showing, of course, on ctvplus.org.au

Starting with Guler Altenbas -
Artist / Multimedia / Creative / Coach / Manager / Radio Presenter and Teacher – Truly, there isn’t much Guler can’t and doesn’t throw her hand in. After a massive time of it medically this past year, Guler is back to be all she is again.
Her art practice is centred around telling stories and with social justice a central topic, she says, gently, she likes to ‘show something gruesome in an aesthetically pleasing way’. Guler is a remarkable being.

Next is footage of a zoom meeting with Lauren Freedman -
Being interviewed from her home in Los Angeles in the US, Lauren is a board-certified health and wellness coach working with those who have been told to change the essence of who they essentially are. With a capacity based approach, the results of her work give structural support for the complex lives of those she works with.

We end the show with a look at the NDIS and how it supports with the lives and conditions of those benefitting from the scheme.

Playing tonight on Ch44 at 6pm in ACST Adelaide and Tuesday on Ch31 in AEST Melbourne and Geelong we replay episode 22 in which we talk with;

Antony Riddell Performance Artist / Writer and Visual Artist
In Redfern Sydney Antony fell through a skylight in a squatter's warehouse at the age of 21. He sees his time in a coma as a time of enlightenment in a shamanistic fashion. Moving to Melbourne afterward, Antony said that the sum total of his time in Sydney was 'a bunch of cassettes and a brain injury'. He is an avid author of prose "You write mate?" where he sculpts words and draws in his many published books. A long-time performer with Weave Movement Theatre, now he is venturing into Tai Chi and looks forward to more living.

Donna Gabriel Facilitator/Producer/Consultant
She formed a love of dance as a chronically ill child. Using the arts as an expression of her creativity led to study arts at Rusden. Motivated by wanting to create change for others through teaching, her path led to classes with older people. Be it working with the Women's Prison to choreographing Moomba events, her drive leads to transforming people's experiences with different forms of inventive magic. Running programs to open the arts for people with disability 'south side', her After Hours nights gain great crowds.

National Concussion Update
We look at how Australian approaches to concussion have changed.
