35 gamers rolling dice and having fun today!

Here’s some of the amazing things that went on:
- Alexi ran an amazing kings of war tournament with 10 players
- Josh brought Dragon Dice
- Adam, Marli and Hayden, Mark and Scott ran it played plenty of roleplaying games
- Pete, Sarah and Jason played many different board games
- Callan and Bob tried out the new Dropzone v3 rules
- Sam and Glorp got a 40k game in.

Big update regarding Our annual gaming convention: SpringCon Tabletop Gaming Convention as we pivot towards a 1 day event

Hello !

Neal here with some not-so-good news and some better news to finish.

This year with SpringCon we planned to recreate the fun and vibes of 2025.

Unfortunately things seems to have consipred against us and despite our best efforts, tickets sales are limited and we're having difficulties finding volunteers and other groups are in a similar position.

The planning team met on Wednesday evening to discuss progresss and decided the best way forward is for a smaller successful event rather than pushing ahead with a larger event leading to potential failure.

SpringCon '26 instead will pivot to GSG's regular Sunday venue for a 1 day fun event with the following:
- Wargaming tournaments: Bot War; Kings of War and Infinity✅
- Board Games: with Cardboard Monster ✅
- Roleplaying Games with Brisbane Social RPG ✅

Traders - we will have a more limited space but still hope to have some of the amazing traders we've had previously. Space will be more limited. We will update through here as we confirm.

Bring n Buy - 2025 had a ripper of a Bring n Buy, this year we've seen two other groups run similar events within two weeks of SpringCon and will be delaying our Bring n Buy until November/ December.

Tickets and Communication.
If you have a ticket already, please keep an eye out for an email from Eventbrite.
This event will now become free entry for general entry and those tickets already purchased will be refunded in exchange for a free tickets

Friday Night Gaming

We recently took a generous donation of some new games - thank you very much!

Our Konflict ‘47 campaign escalated to 1250pts and a few other parameters allowing tanks, mechs and monster to really show themselves at these games.

We had 10 players and maybe 6 games, finishing with a lucky door prize thanks to War and Peace games.

Next fortnight we take a break before retuning in 4 weeks to 1500pt games 💥
