‼️ 2026 Season 1 Player Fee Refund Request ‼️

Players requesting a refund will need to complete the following form: https://shorturl.at/plI14
Leaving fees as a credit for Season 2 is also an option and this will need to be noted on the above form if this is your preference.

Please note we can only refund playing fees, and where applicable, Junior singlet orders.
Players requesting the $60 QTF & TFA component of their fees will need to email their request to [email protected]

We will endeavour to process these payments as soon as possible but ask for your patience given the volume of transactions and the time it takes to complete these.

We will be signing out for a few months now and while down, we are certainly not out and hope to see you all back soon! 🖤💛

Our 2026 Season 1 Seniors & Juniors, including Junior Rep touch will need to be cancelled.

Frustrating and really upsetting but we will continue to fight our touch community!

🚨🚨FIELD SAFETY UPDATE #2🚨🚨

After extensive discussions with Council, we’re pleased to share that our playing fields will be reopening soon.

We’ve worked closely with Ipswich City Council to ensure the grounds will meet the required safety standards, and a clear maintenance plan is now in place for the season ahead. Council has committed to ongoing monitoring and upkeep to ensure our fields continue to be well maintained and safe for all players.

This means that our Senior mixed will now start: Wednesday 11th March and Juniors at the scheduled Monday 23rd March.

All registration links are now reopen and ready to go!

We are currently looking at options for JSC trials and will update once we have a confirmed plan.

We thank you for your patience and support while we worked through this process and are looking forward to seeing everyone back out on the field 😊

🚨🚨FIELD SAFETY UPDATE🚨🚨

As many of you are aware, significant field maintenance was completed over the break in preparation for our upcoming 2026 season.

However recent inspections of our playing field have since identified additional risks that mean we cannot safely have players training or competing at this time. Therefore, our Junior Rep trials scheduled for tomorrow night, Wednesday 18th February, as well as the start of our Senior Mixed competition will need to be postponed.

We are working closely with Council to have these issues addressed and to map out a clear pathway to restore safe and adequate playing conditions for all our members.

We apologise for the delay in sharing this update and understand the frustration this causes. Please know we are advocating strongly for our club and working hard toward a timely and suitable resolution.

We sincerely thank you for your continued support and endeavour to provide a further update at the end of the week.

South West Queensland Touch Football is hosting a Foundation Coaching Course designed for brand new and developing coaches to build strong foundations in coaching principles and game understanding.

Springfield Stingers Touch Football is happy to pay for course costs and supply petrol vouchers to any local club member who in interested in travelling out to gain this qualification to help support our Junior teams.

We’re excited to share an update with our touch community 🏉

We have been working closely with Council and, at this stage, expect our fields to be open by mid-February, allowing us to kick off the upcoming season as planned. All information and registration links for the season will be available next week.

As we prepare for the 2026 season, we are holding a club meeting on Monday 19th January and warmly invite anyone who is interested in getting involved to attend. This is a great opportunity to have your say, meet other members, and help us build a strong and successful season ahead.

What an amazing semi-final it was between Springfield and Townsville!! We didn’t come out with the win but what a close game it was. 5-3 to Townsville, with them scoring a sneaky little try in the last 10 seconds. How awesome!!

Thank you to our 40’s mixed players, you guys really put the effort in to show up to all your trainings and show up this weekend ready to play. Can’t wait to have them run again and try again next year for the 1st place 💪🏽🐝
