Come down now, say hello, grab a sausage sizzle and a cold drink, and help us support people in our local community who are doing it tough.

Every snag and drink sold helps Birch Foundation continue our community outreach and support programs.

Last year, the Birch Foundation created this initiative to connect community organisations with the right people in our community.

We have many people visiting our op shop who are looking for support, services, information and assistance. Our Care & Lifestyle Expo is an opportunity to bring community organisations together and connect people with the services they need.

Are you a community organisation or service provider?

We would love you to join us and exhibit at our Care & Lifestyle Expo.

Exhibiting is a great opportunity to:

💙 Something Good Is Waiting for You This Week 💙

We’re getting ready for another week at the Birch Foundation Op Shop, and there’ll be plenty to look forward to when our doors open tomorrow.

Come in and discover some great finds, enjoy one of our delicious treats, grab a warm drink, and pick up some free bread available for our community.

You never quite know what you’ll find on our shelves and racks, and that’s part of what makes every visit a little different.

More importantly, every purchase helps us continue supporting people in our local community. So while you’re finding something special for yourself, you’re also helping make a difference for someone else.

Our outreach boxes are full and ready to go too!
A huge thank you to everyone who donates and volunteers. We couldn’t do what we do without you.

As another week comes to a close, we would like to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who has generously donated to Birch Foundation.

Every donation we receive whether it’s clothing, food, household essentials, financial support or other much-needed items helps us continue providing meaningful support to individuals and families in our community who are doing it tough.

Your generosity helps us continue our community programs and services and, just as importantly, reminds those we support that they are part of a community that genuinely cares.

To every individual, family, local business and organisation that has donated, volunteered, supported our work or helped spread the word this week, we extend our heartfelt thanks. Your kindness and generosity make a genuine difference.

🌿 Taking Our Outreach Further Across the Gold Coast 🌿

Our community outreach continues to grow, with Birch Foundation now reaching people across different locations throughout the Gold Coast.

Every week, our team and volunteers load up the van with clothing, food, essential items and other practical support, taking help directly to people who need it. As our outreach expands, so does the need for reliable transport.

That’s why we’re working towards an important goal: raising funds for a reliable second-hand dual cab ute. 🚙

An additional vehicle would help us carry more supplies, support more outreach locations and give our team greater capacity to respond where help is needed.

For us, a ute is more than just a vehicle. It means more supplies on the road, more communities reached and more opportunities to make a difference.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported our outreach so far. Our volunteers, donors, local businesses and community members. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps keep our work moving forward.

☕🍰💙 Coffee, cake and the kindness of our community.

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Dylan and the team at The Laughing Pug in Burleigh for generously donating coffee and coffee cups to Birch Foundation Op Shop.

We would also like to give a very special thank you to Gilly, who generously gave delicious cakes that all of us enjoyed.

The freshly made cakes and coffee are a perfect combination and help make our Op Shop an even more welcoming place for people to visit, connect and spend time together.

We are very fortunate to have individuals and local businesses who believe in supporting their community. Generosity like this is about more than coffee and cake, it helps create moments of connection, conversation and kindness for the people who walk through our doors.
