Reminder to complete your census :

The Australian Census night is Tuesday, 11 August 2026. It is run by the Australian Bureau of Statistics every five years, the compulsory count includes everyone in the country.

- penalties apply under the Census and Statistics Act 1905 if you fail to complete the Australian census after receiving your formal legal notice. - Refusing to complete the census after a formal written direction can result in prosecution and fines of up to $364 per day.

Sikh Community Connections is offering free one-on-one Census support sessions at Kirrip, Wollert VIC.

📅 Monday 10 August, 1pm to 2pm
📍 Kirrip Library, Wollert VIC

Whether you need help understanding the questions or completing your form online, SCC Volunteers will be there to assist.
Please bring:
• Your Census form (essential)
• A smartphone, tablet, iPad or laptop if possible
A limited number of devices will be available on the day, and language support is available.

✅ Language support available

This week, Sikh Community Connections delivered fresh fruit, vegetables, bread, baby formula and essential groceries to individuals and families doing it tough.
