🔎 MISSING: 3 FINISH TOKENS! 🔎

Three of our Shepparton parkrun finish tokens went on an unexpected adventure last Saturday! 😱

Could they be hiding in your pocket, your car, your running bag or perhaps even the washing machine?

If you've accidentally taken one home, we'd love to have it back! ❤️

No questions asked — just bring it along tomorrow and hand it to one of our wonderful volunteers.

Remember, finish tokens are borrowed, not souvenirs! 😁

Thanks for helping us keep Shepparton parkrun running smoothly! 🌳🏃‍♀️

***Thanks Everyone, I think we are only in need of a photographer now and we are all good.

We need a few more volunteers this weekend. We are good for barcode scanners and still waiting on confirmation for a timekeeper, but all other roles in the table are still avail. Please check any comments on this post as this will let you know what has been claimed already.

Well, it was a gorgeous morning this morning and 243 people turned up for a walk, run or jog around the lake today. We had 29 superstars record a PB today, including Annabelle, who today ran solo for the first time because she had her 11th birthday a few weeks ago. Way to go Annabelle, cut free from the parents who were handicapping her! There were also 22 people who ran at Shepparton for the first time, and 18 of those people ran for the first time at a parkrun anywhere, so welcome to all those newbies, we hope to see you again next week. Sam and Jocelyn both ran their 25th parkrun and Lee ran her 50th parkrun with us this morning. Congratulations to all 3 of you for these achievements. As always, thank you to the 13 people that put their hands up this week to make parkrun happen. Our volunteers are very important to us. If you would like to volunteer in an upcoming week, please reach out and let us know, even if you have not done it before, we can easily show you what you need to do.

Congrats to Carolyne today on her 100th Volunteer at parkrun. We really value your contribution, not only to parkrun in Shepparton, but parkrun far and wide. Carolyne visits many parkruns (there are far too many to count on her record!!) and most frequently visits Shepparton. Today she proudly barcode scanned with her grandson Lukas who's starting to get the volunteer bug as well with 5 volunteers knocked up already. Well done Carolyne, and thanks for all you do for parkrun.

Well, we didn't get wet and that was awesome, 256 people came out this morning to walk, jog or run their way around the lake. 34 of those people ran a PB today, and 22 were first timers to Shepparton, 10 of those having thier first go at a parkrun all together. Michael ran his 250th milestone, and Carolyne volunteered for the 100th time, Congrats to you both. Enjoy the remainder of the weekend superstars!
