Since November 2023, through Victoria's Containet Deposit Scheme, our club has worked with FOOTT and wonderful local venues to fundraise for our community.

We have collected a whopping 184,077 containers 🤯
for a grand total of $18,407.70 raised so far!

A few more photos from the build at Gowrie Street Primary School for the Food Ladder greenhouse project with Greater Shepparton Lighthouse Project.

Our Club has very talented members who joined with the Rotary Club of Shepparton Central - many hands make light work!
We also put Assistant (now Acting) Principal Tim Davis to work!

This was the last joint Club project we worked on with the late Shepp Central member Mal Watt. A fantastic community minded Rotarian.

💧🌱 BUILDING WATER RESILIENCE IN A CHANGING CLIMATE
As part of Rotary’s ongoing community service work, Rotarians and guests from Shepparton, Mooroopna, Tatura and Kyabram gathered last Wednesday for a forum exploring the intersection of climate change and water — the Goulburn Valley’s most vital resource.
The forum heard from three regional water leaders, who outlined how their organisations are adapting to increasing climate variability to support long‑term resilience across the environment, agriculture and urban communities.

Our club is proudly partnering with Shepparton RSL again this Saturday for the annual tradition of a hot egg and bacon roll after the ANZAC Day Dawn Service.

Every year our club donates the fees paid for our efforts to Australian Rotary Health for research projects on PTSD 💙

Rotary is the biggest non-government funder of mental health projects in Australia!

Like last year, students can enter through their schools.
But it's harder to reach 18 to 20-year-olds.

We proudly hosted a Water Leaders Forum for Rotarians and guests tonight 💙

The executives of Goulburn Valley Water, Goulburn Murray Water and Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority discussed the future of water in our region.

A very interesting session about outlooks, current plans and what we can do to support sustainable water use, facilitated by Allen Gale of Rotary Club of Shepparton Central.

Thank you to these leaders Carl Walters, Charmaine Quick and Steve Capewell for taking the time to update us on your work.

It was wonderful to have all local Rotary clubs in the room as well as many guests.
