Link-Up NSW would like to give a heartfelt thank you to South Sydney Rabbitohs stars Latrell Mitchell, Cody Walker and Tallis Duncan for their incredible kindness and generosity shown to our client, Aunty Gloria, on her flight home from our Healing Camp last week.

Without hesitation, they stepped in to assist Aunty Gloria, showing genuine care, respect and compassion.

📢 ATTENTION COOEE FESTIVAL STALLHOLDERS

We would like to clarify that stallholder allocations from COOEE Festival 2025 were not automatically transferred to COOEE Festival 2026.

Following the cancellation of the 2025 event, all stallholders were offered the choice of either a refund or a credit towards COOEE Festival 2026. To secure a credit for 2026, stallholders were required to communicate this request directly with the COOEE Festival team via email.

If you requested a refund last year or did not advise our team via email that you wished to credit your 2025 payment towards COOEE Festival 2026, there is currently NO STALL allocation reserved for your organisation or business.

If you are unsure whether a stall has been allocated to your organisation, please contact the COOEE Team as soon as possible so we can assist at [email protected] or on (02) 9421 4700.

Please note: If you have already received and/or submitted a Stallholder Application Form for COOEE Festival 2026, a stall has been reserved for your organisation pending payment.

This week, Link-Up NSW clients and staff are gathered in Dubbo on Wiradjuri Country for a Healing Camp, creating space for connection, culture and healing.

We were honoured to begin our time together with a Welcome to Country by Aunty Marg Walker and a Smoking Ceremony facilitated by Dinawan's Connection, helping to ground us in culture and Country.

A special thank you to 13YARN for attending and supporting our camp. Your presence and contribution are greatly appreciated.

Healing Camps provide an opportunity for clients to strengthen connections, share experiences, learn from one another and continue their healing journeys in a culturally safe and supportive environment.

We are looking forward to a week of cultural connection, yarning, building relationships and creating lasting memories together on Country. 🖤💛❤️

We are so excited to announce DJ Donk will be joining us for Western Sydney's COOEE Festival 2026!

Ashley Donovan, who goes by stage name DJ Donk, is the youngest of The Donovan Family. He has performed as a member of the Donovan Band for 35 years playing lead guitar, drums and back up vocals. Ashley has performed at various events such as The Survival Concerts at La Perouse, Yabun Concert in Redfern, Warangesda Festival in Darlington Point, NAIDOC events and also the Annual Tamworth Country Music festival. Ashley has also performed for the 50th Freedom Ride Anniversary in Bowraville and Kempsey. Ashley has continued the family musical legacy through his interest of DJ’ing and being a sound tech. Although Ashley is the youngest of his siblings his passion for music has always come from the early days with his parents Mick & Aileen.

We hope you mob are just as excited as we are to see DJ Donk on the COOEE mainstage! 🖤💛❤️

Our office will be closed from tomorrow, Wednesday 3rd of June until Monday 8th of June, as we host our Annual Staff Retreat.

The retreat provides staff with a well-earned opportunity to reconnect through cultural and team-building activities. It offers valuable time to strengthen relationships, reflect and recharge, enabling staff to return refreshed, focused and ready to continue the important work they do in supporting the Stolen Generations and community.

All phones will be switched to voicemail during this time.

The team will work towards returning all calls and respond to enquiries upon our return on Tuesday, 9th of June.

Sheraya is a proud Kamilaroi woman and is the Events and Media Supervisor at Link-Up NSW. A dedicated, hardworking and strong Indigenous woman, Sheraya takes immense pride in everything she does for our clients, community and Elders. From social media posts to marketing materials and deadly events, her passion, commitment and creativity continue to make a meaningful impact across all areas of her work, and this recognition is so well deserved.
