Michelle here 😁. It’s still sinking in that we have had to close the shop. We all loved working there together and loved our customers and our many many conversations over the years. Sad tears have been shed but oh so many more happy tears. We have had so many wonderful people drop in over the last few months asking if it’s true…. yes it is. Our doors officially closed on Saturday. We have heard many rumours - most untrue. I thank the people that came in and asked us directly. We closed due to my ankle requiring more surgery and as we don’t know what in there needs fixing we don’t know what recovery will be. At the end of the day it is getting harder harder for me to stay on my feet all day without surgery - especially when we’re in there 6 days a week.

With the closure of the shop I was going to close down this page but I was asked repeatedly to keep it open as a way to keep in touch. Will do!

I love browsing op shops like you all do so I hope to run into you guys along the way!

My amazing team and I will be keeping in touch and catching up regularly. Those ladies became my family! Heaven knows we’ve been through enough together!

We will miss you all! If you see us out and about please say hi!! We’re going to have some serious withdrawals!

Much love to you all!!

From us at the one and only GOLD COIN OP SHOP!! ❤️❤️❤️

As most people know we are more than happy to help anyone in need. We give away a lot of stock with no issues.

To the gentleman that decided to casually steal an expensive item from our auction - thank you. We sell these items to go towards the expense of keeping the shop so we can keep our prices now.

I try not to be negative but I honestly hope karma follows you. We also know who you are so I hope you feel good about yourself. I hope it was worth it.
