We're working towards something exciting here at Holistic Horizons 👀🚽🚿

We're raising money to transform our bathroom into a fully accessible space, making it more practical and inclusive for the people who use it.

To help make this renovation possible, we recently held a sausage sizzle at Bunnings Rothwell, and we're so grateful to everyone who came along and got behind us. Thanks to the incredible support from our community, we raised just over $2,000 on the day! 🎉

Every sausage, every donation and every bit of support brings us one step closer to making this happen.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped us move closer to creating a more accessible space for our community. We couldn't do it without you. 🙌

Tuesday cooking group was cooked up a storm! 🍝

This time our crew went all in: spaghetti Bolognese, homemade garlic bread, and apricot tarts to finish it all off. Delicious!

And it's about so much more than the food. From planning the recipe to the supermarket shop to plating it all up, every step builds real skills, confidence and connection along the way.

The best part? Sitting down and enjoying it together. 🧑‍🍳

Meet Dean 👋 one of the wonderful support workers behind Holistic Horizons.

Dean has been part of the HH family for almost five years. After a career in the building industry, an injury led him to rethink things, and having a daughter with an intellectual disability gave him a real understanding of just how much good support can mean. So he made the move into disability care, and he hasn't looked back.

In his words: "this job's more rewarding." 💙

Off the clock, Dean's a passionate rugby league man and the current treasurer of the Redcliffe Old Boys. He's also one very proud dad, his daughter has medalled multiple times and is competing again in Melbourne in just a few months.

What does he love about HH? That we're far more hands-on than the bigger companies.

And his top tip for the job? Keep calm, and always take a moment to talk the day through with your teammates.

Dean, we're so lucky to have you. Here's to more wins for your clients and your family. 🙌
