💜 Wear It Purple Day at RAYS!
A whole lot of purple, plenty of conversation and a chance to celebrate the many forms of courage shown by LGBTQIA+SB young people.
After reflecting on the way RAYS creates a space where young people can be themselves, we made our own commitments to continue to make that happen. We put our purple knowledge to the test with a Purple Quiz and, of course, a celebration always needs an afternoon tea. Our trainees absolutely delivered on the purple spread! 💜

Community Candlelight Vigil for Djuarn Baker-Adams 💜🕯️
​Our hearts are heavy as we come together to honour the beautiful life of Djuarn Baker-Adams, a cherished daughter, sister, aunty, and friend whose light and kindness touched so many. Taken far too soon, Djuarn’s life mattered, her story matters, and we are gathering not only to grieve, but to stand united as a community and say no more to domestic violence.
​Please join us as we surround her loved ones with support, celebrate her memory, and call for meaningful change.

💡✨One of our team recently attended Creative Arts Approaches for Trauma: Expanding the Toolkit. This workshop explored expressive arts approaches within trauma-informed groupwork.
We’re really looking forward to putting these new ideas into practice. 🛠️
