I'm happy to report that after a week of rain and downright yucky Victorian winter weather ⛈️, tomorrow morning is looking fantastic for a nice 5km walk/run at Puckapunyal parkrun - Restricted Military Base 🌞.

As it's the first Saturday of the month, we will meet at Little Stones Cafe from approximately 09:45 for coffee and brunch.

It is advised that if you have known respiratory conditions that you should play it safe and not attend.

Update - Tomorrow’s event will go ahead.

Good Morning Legends,

At this point the decision to hold tomorrows event is on hold.
A decision will be made this afternoon depending on the air quality after burning off around the track.
There will be a course check conducted this morning to ensure there has been no direct impact on the course it’s self. 🏃‍♂️ 🏃 🏃‍♀️

Another great morning out on the Pucka course! 🌅

We saw a solid turnout to kick off the weekend, with a fantastic mix of runners and walkers getting it done along the environmental track (and a few local kangaroos and emus making their usual appearance 🦘).

👏 A big welcome to our first timers this week — great to have you along and we hope to see you back again.

🔥 There were also a number of PBs recorded, which is always great to see. Whether it’s shaving off a few seconds or smashing a long-term goal, those efforts don’t go unnoticed!

🙌 And of course, a huge thank you to our volunteers — the people who make it all happen each week. From setup to pack down, we couldn’t do it without you.

Another strong community morning done right.
