Sundays WLAC clean up crew enjoyed day 3 out at The Stonka Fishing Challenge this morning!

Thanks to all the volunteers that have helped out this great event over the last 3 days, we have 1 to go and will be departing the centre at 6am tomorrow.

We have received some fantastic feedback and it provided us with opertunies about who we are and what we do in our local community 💞

Only 2 days til The Stonka Fishing Challenge out at Cape Gloucester!!!

The WLAC crew will be out there each morning to get the main area ready for the crowds .... if anyone wants to give us an extra hand, more the merrier and we would most certainly appreciate it!

Mel will be taking a bus out each morning from Proserpine between 730am - 8am. We will have everything we need to get the job done ...... just need to bring a hat, water bottle, closed in footwear and a winning attitude 😉

For our efforts over the 4 days we will receive a donation from Stonka to spend on the upkeep of our Centre and activities 😍

Whitsunday Leisure Activity Centre are on the tongs again this Friday 24th July taking over the BBQ at Bunnings Airlie Beach for a good old-fashioned Sausage Sizzle fundraiser!

We’re raising funds for equipment, monthly outings, activities, and the Centre in Proserpine that opens 5 days a week supporting seniors and people living with disabilities. This will be our last BBQ for awhile so please come down and say hello 👋

We have your smoko and lunch sorted!!

Swing by from 9am until mid-afternoon for:
🌭 A perfectly cooked snag
🥤 An icy cold drink
💬 A yarn with our friendly crew
❤️ And the chance to support a great local cause

**Menu:**
🌭 Sausage — $3.50
🥤 Water & Soft Drinks — $2.00
