Woden Community Service (WCS) is a not-for-profit organisation that has been providing community-based services across Canberra, Australian Capital Territory for 50 years. Our vision is a caring community where everyone belongs. We deliver services on behalf of the ACT and Australian Governments across the ACT and a range of children’s services within the region. We employ 500 permanent and casual

staff and have an active volunteer program with over 100 volunteers. WCS provides a wide range of services covering children, families, young people and seniors including disability, housing and mental health services. Our Values

INCLUSION: We believe all people have a right to full inclusion as valued community members and we respect and encourage diversity in communities and our organisation. COMPASSION: We offer kindness and understanding to people who need our support and work with others to build caring communities. HOPE: We are optimistic about the possibility of change and seek to inspire confidence for a better future with the people and communities we support. RESPONSIVENESS: We adjust to meet changing community needs and are courageous in how we grow and develop as an organisation. INTEGRITY: We are committed to being honest, professional and accountable in our relationships and in everything we do. SOCIAL JUSTICE: We work to increase access and opportunity for all, particularly
those who face disadvantage and discrimination.

For many people, clutter is only part of the story.

Through the Clutter is a free therapeutic group program helping people explore the emotional side of hoarding behaviours in a safe and supportive environment.

Because lasting change starts with understanding what sits underneath.

Since 1969, Woden Community Service has been part of the lives of Canberra children and families.

This Early Learning Matters Week, we're celebrating the incredible educators who have supported generations of children across our early learning and OSHC services for more than five decades.

Great early learning leaves a lifelong impact. To all our educators, past and present, thank you for helping children learn, grow and belong.
