Something a bit different to show you all today.... our woodshop restored an old rocking horse for a customer.... who was very happy with the result

Here's some work that the foundry team did a while back, the customer has cleaned and polished the castings...... they are bells for an antiqueFrench made clock

Another successful day on the CNC machine.... these little "keys" are actually Dutch clock case pegs (they hold the case pendulum cover on it slides like a drawer up and down) for a customer of ours.

About 8hrs of design work, then another 8 or so hours cutting on the cnc machine.... now the customer has it and has to infill with paint. Phew, am I ever glad that job is done (for now).

Very thin specialty plywood cut out using the CNC machine then given to the customer to finish and insert in the antique clock. Love it when modern technology assists in restoring an antique item!

What a beautiful day today was!! Sun was shining brightly, it wasn't cold. And the best of all? The Steam Engines all came out to play at
Don't worry if you missed it today though, as they're doing it all again tomorrow!! Why not bring the family out, take a ride on the Steam Engine Wagon ride, wander through the Guild's workshop and then enjoy a picnic on the Village Green - the weather looks like it's going to be beautiful again!!!

Calling all Members of the North Pine Trades Guild......
This coming weekend is Old Petrie Town Steam Fair and we need all hands on deck please.
Saturday from 10am until 4pm and Sunday from 7am until 1pm. We don't expect you to stay all day or for both days, however even a couple hours out of your weekend will help us to have a productive weekend!
