Life Cycle for CanTeen Two OffRoad rides (Munda Biddi & Kep Track) to support CanTeen Australia, plus regular group rides Accommodation, transport, support and meals are provided.

Life Cycle is a registered charity which runs supported OffRoad events. Originally starting as an OnRoad cycling event in 1998 where cyclists rode from Perth to Busselton over three days. This event concluded in 2024
Our OffRoad events are supported and started in 2012. Rides include:
Sections of the Munda Biddi trail which extends from Mundaring to Albany. We conduct this ride over the first weekend in May and traverse sections of the trail over three days. It is a great way to explore this trail and ride with like-minded people raising funds and awareness of Canteen whilst enjoying the great outdoors. Our Kep Track weekend ride, usually in August each year is a two-day event from Parkerville in the hills to Northam. Overnight stay in the local PCYC and return the next day. Life Cycle is the biggest WA fundraiser for CanTeen Australia and funds raised go directly to support young people when cancer crashes into their lives

Life Cycle for CanTeen Inc (ABN 27 251 421 905) is registered as a charity with the ACNC. Life Cycle is run by a dedicated group of volunteers, and supported by some great businesses many who spend a great deal of time preparing for these rides to ensure a safe and enjoyable adventure

We also have a social aspect which involves regular (once a month) rides over one or two days. These social rides are designed to allow riders to meet and experience some other trails before or after our two events. It is a great way for riders of any capability to enjoy group riding

Hi

I have been lucky enough to have just completed the Munda Biddi Trail E2E N2S .
A great experience and got to ride some of the trail we will be taking on in 2027 with Lifecycle4CanTeen .
There are some great sections with some spectacular views as we traverse from Donnybrook.
Watch for upcoming details towards December as the committee finalise details and release the planned days .
However just a couple of pics to get a feel of what 2027 holds

Without the support of a dedicated following of members of the Toyota Land Cruiser Club of WA, Life Cycle for CanTeen would not be able to conduct our charity events to such a high standard and with excellent safety and back-up.
Members were there again this weekend watching over us en-route, towing our luggage, encouraging us (with lollies) to keep going, picking up riders if needed and driving Sunday-only riders to Northam.
Thank you TLCCWA for your contributions to another successful event.

Once again, we would like to say a huge thank you to the Rapid Relief Team AU in Mundaring who certainly lived up to their name this year when they responded with only about 5 days notice.
We were treated to coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice, croissants, cakes, biscuits and more to power us on our way from Parkerville to Northam on Saturday 22 August.
They never fail to smile, even at 6:30am and our and crew riders were very appreciative of such a wonderful send-off.

Another year of Life Cycle for CanTeen Kep ride is complete .
Thanks to all the riders and support crew for another successful ride .
Our support crew were at checkpoints on the return and also brought up our Sunday only riders to Northam.
Saturday weather made way for a rain free Sunday . Riders enjoyed a breakfast Lume Brasserie before the 70km back to Parkerville .
Checking in through Clackline and the crossing under the bridge led to a check in at Bakers Hill before the final 35km into Parkerville
Awaiting was our crew there to check you in .
Big thanks again to Kennards Hire who again supplied two trailers ,one toilet and a lighting tower for security of our parked cars at Parkerville .

See you all next year for another Kep ride and keep an eye on posts for plans for 2027 and our schedule

We will also have some social day rides coming up so watch for invites .

Lifecycle 4 CanTeen Kep ride day 1 is done .
Great to see returning riders and new riders to Lifecycle tackle the 70km from Parkerville to Northam.
Some even rode from home up the Heritage trail to the start .
Alex Lim and Mathew Willemsen were even loaded up testing their Munda Biddi bikepacking rigs .
Big shout out to Rapid Relief Team AU who were are the start with hot drinks , croissants, muffins and fresh fruit . A great supporter of Life Cycle for CanTeen .
Parkerville to Bakers Hill saw the faster riders sprint off , maybe trying to avoid the inevitable rain .
Alas after a sustenance stop at Bakers Hill the drizzly rain started which got heavier as Northam was on the radar.
But after a hot shower and a meal riders seem to have forgotten the rain
Tomorrow after a buffet breakfast at Lume Brasserie the return trip will await .
Special mention to our fantastic support crew who again were following our ride ,providing water and treats and ensuring we all arrived safely.
