Bushfire Volunteers WA A strong, independent and respected advocacy association representing Volunteer Bush Fire Brigades in Western Australia.

Western Australia is privileged to have approximately 20,000 volunteer bush fire fighters and support crews, who are based at over 550 Volunteer Bush Fire Brigades throughout the State. The Association of Volunteer Bush Fire Brigades of WA (AVBFB) is the advocacy agency for the State's volunteer bush fire fighters that champions for their health, welfare and safety.

🔥🪵COMMUNITY BONFIRE NIGHT🪵🔥

Join us on the 29th of August between 5:30pm - 8:00pm for our annual community bonfire and fire wood raffle night.

Were please to welcome along Back 2 The Grind bring their delicious food and coffee to be purchased on the night.

Fire wood raffle will be drawn at 7:30pm, tickets will still be available to purchase on the night (cash only) up to 7pm

Fantastic news - congratulations on the funding 🔥⭐️

The Shire of Mundaring has secured almost $890,000 in State Government funding to deliver an extensive program of bushfire mitigation works across the Perth Hills.

Through the 2026/27 Round 1 Bushfire Mitigation Activity Fund, the Shire has been awarded funding to undertake 44 bushfire mitigation treatments across 18 locations.

The funding allocation is the largest awarded to any local government in Western Australia through this round of the program.
