🇦🇺 🇫🇷 A great opportunity for WA students learning French Language 🇦🇺 🇫🇷

The WA/La Réunion Student Exchange (WALRSE) offers a reciprocal 4-week language and cultural immersion program for WA students in Years 9–12, involving a winter trip to Réunion Island and a summer hosting period. Operated by a volunteer network of French teachers, this program facilitates total immersion to enhance language skills and cultural understanding.

Help us understand the transition from primary to secondary school for young people with language and/or reading challenges!

We want to talk to young people with language and/or reading challenges in Years 6-12, their caregivers, and educators/professionals in some quick interviews (approx. 30mins for young people, 45 mins for adults).

The interviews will focus on secondary school transition experiences, social and emotional wellbeing, and what might have helped or made things harder. We are also open to receiving written or pre-recorded responses!
