Here is an aerial picture of the Temple in Capernaum. This is the Temple that Yeshua attended and spoke in when he was in the Galilee. Capernaum is located next to the Sea of Galilee. I have walked all around the Temple when I was in Capernaum.

In this Torah portion, God punishes the wicked in the world by causing a giant flood. God saves Noah and his family, who will repopulate the world. We are also introduced to Abram and his wife, Sarai. Genesis: 6:9 -11:32 17 10 2026

B'reisheet, Hebrew for "in the beginning," is the first weekly Torah portion in the annual Jewish cycle of Torah reading. The parashah consists of Genesis 1:1–6:8. In the parashah, God creates the heavens, the world, Adam and Eve, and Sabbath. A serpent convinces Eve, who then invites Adam, to eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which God had forbidden to them. God curses the ground for their sake and expels them from the Garden of Eden. One of their sons, Cain, kills his brother Abel out of jealousy. Adam and Eve have other children, whose descendants populate the Earth. Each generation becomes more and more degenerate until God decides to destroy humanity. Only one person, Noah, finds God's favor.

Ps Jason is the founder and leader of Maranatha Kingdom Ministries, he has a Messianic Jewish background, and is originally from the USA. He’s a passionate revivalist and has seen many miracles all over the world. Ps Ross will share Parashah No 1 Breisheet “ In the Beginning ” Gen 1:1 - 6:8. I was also up there last Thursday myself. It has a view to the city enabling people to come and pray over and for the city of Perth.
Prayer with musicians playing appropriately is done at certain times. It is a wonderful experience.

In much of the Diaspora (the Jewish communities outside the Land of Israel), Shemini Atzeret (the eighth day of Sukkot) is followed directly by a second special day, Simchat Torah (literally, “joy of the Torah”). In Israel however, all of the observances for Simchat Torah are held on Shemini Atzeret, combining the two holidays into one day and making them almost indistinguishable. Simchat Torah itself is the celebration dedicated to both completing the yearly cycle of public Torah reading and starting it again.

The Feast of Tabernacles, or Sukkot, continues this week. It is one of the three great pilgrimage feasts of Israel, when Israelite men were commanded to come before the Lord in Jerusalem. Sukkot remembers God’s faithfulness to Israel in the wilderness, His provision for His people, and His presence dwelling among them.
By the time of the Second Temple, Sukkot included a remarkable celebration in the Court of the Women. Enormous lampstands were lit, filling the Temple precincts with light and, according to Jewish tradition, illuminating Jerusalem beyond. The celebration of light was associated with God’s presence and with hope for the coming Messiah.
It was in the context of the Feast of Tabernacles that Yeshua declared:
“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” — John 8:12
