Peregian Beach Surf Life Saving Club’s goal is to provide a safe environment for its community by providing essential lifesaving duties.

Peregian Beach Surf Life Saving Club is located 130kms north of Brisbane and is one of the northern clubs situated at Peregian beach on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. It is obvious why so many locals and visitors love coming to the Peregian Beach Surf Life Saving Club. We are a voluntary public safety service and our foremost focus is on the protection of our community who utilise the Beach, but we also offer our members opportunities for education, sports involvement and physical activity for members of all ages.

INTRODUCING OUR NEWEST VOLUNTEER PATROL 8 RECRUITS! 🚩 Amidst the grey skies that still followed us again on the weekend, Ada and Sophie who are also recent Nipper program graduates, still rose to the challenge to keep our beach safe!

Leading by example, they are an inspiration to see - our local youths supporting the community they live in. They came with smiles and positivity! Well done, ladies! 👏

VOLUNTEERS THAT ALWAYS TURN UP🚩🌊 🚒🫶
Despite the gloomy weather on the beach, our dedicated Volunteer patrols showed up in force on Saturday and Sunday, serving with passion and in community spirit. Patrol 6 bravely faced the Sunday morning challenging conditions to support our Nipper program 🌊

Our Sunday Markets also hosting a vital community bushfire information session alongside Noosa Council , QLD National Parks, Coolum QFS, and Verrierdale Rural Fire Brigade, proving that even in the rain (and when the fire calls), we can come together to make a difference! 🌈

Seven years after the devastating bushfires, our heroic emergency services reunited to share their wisdom and forge a stronger, more resilient community. It was truly humbling to see Trevor our friend and 35-year Peregian Beach Market stallholder veteran, reunite with his Verrierdale Rural Fire Brigade crew, where he proudly served as Captain for over 30 years. Trevor, you're a true local legend and an inspiration to us all! 🙏

Seven years on from the 2019 fires, we are heading into another challenging season. To support our local residents, the Peregian Beach Surf Life Saving Club is proud to collaborate with:

🔥 Bushfire season is approaching. Are you prepared?

Seven years on from the 2019 Peregian bushfires, we're bringing the community together for a relaxed afternoon to reflect on lessons learnt, and how we're preparing for what is predicted to be a challenging bushfire season.

It's a chance to learn more about bushfire preparedness, hear about the work happening to keep our community safe and ask questions directly to local fire and disaster management teams.

Noosa Council, Queensland Parks and Wildlife, Queensland Fire Department, and
Rural Fire Service will be there for a chat.

Plus, we'll have the BBQ fired up with a free snag! 🌭

☀️ SAND, SURF, SUN AND FUN - There’s nothing quite like the energy of our first Nippers day back on the sand! 🏖️ 🌊

The sun was shining, the energy was high, and the smiles were endless as our Peregian Beach Surf Life Saving Club families returned to the beach for the 2026/27 season!

We are officially celebrating our biggest season yet! 🙌 🚩

Thanks to our incredible local community for growing our Club members, our Nipper numbers have skyrocketed from 230 up to 300 vibrant young nippers hitting the sand and surf. Seeing that wave of bright caps and high energy back at Peregian Beach makes all the hard work behind the scenes worth it!
