Noosa Business Group Inc We're a Sunshine Coast – Noosa business networking group, meeting for breakfast every Wednesday fr Noosa Business Group Inc. Contact us for more information.

is a Sunshine Coast based networking group. Our focus is always to assist the growth of our members’ businesses. We are an independent not for profit organisation, set up and managed by members, with all funds being used to support our purpose. The group achieves this by the referral of business opportunities to each other and from time to time, providing mentoring assistance when sought between members. The members promote their business ideas and strategies at weekly meetings for the benefit of other group members. Regular speakers in different fields provide valuable information as to current circumstances in various areas of business activities. This benefits members in gathering information they should discuss with their own professional consultants (if these are not group members). Each member presents details of their business in short presentations at our weekly meetings, thus providing the opportunity to introduce to group members any variations in business activity/products, market conditions etc. Whilst primarily we are a business group, we also meet up for social activities including Christmas in July and End of Year party. We pride ourselves in the camaraderie and the strong mutual support we provide each other. You too can be part of our networking group. This page is being maintained by active members of the NBG:

Ever sent a perfectly legitimate business email… only to have it land in spam? 📩

The issue may be that receiving servers can’t verify your domain. That’s where SPF, DKIM and DMARC help:

✅ SPF confirms which mail servers are allowed to send emails for your domain.
✅ DKIM adds a digital signature, showing the message hasn’t been altered.
✅ DMARC tells receiving servers what to do when those checks fail, and helps protect your domain from being impersonated.

When these records are set up correctly, your emails are easier to trust, more likely to reach the inbox and better protected from spoofing.

You're not alone, and it's usually one simple thing: image resolution.

Our new guide, “Understanding Image Resolution and DPI: A Noosa Business Owner's Guide”, features Noosa Business Group member Taty Hindes of Soul Space Design (soulspacedesign.com.au), who has 35+ years of professional design experience. The article is adapted with permission from her original piece.

A few handy takeaways:

🖼️ Resolution is about how many pixels an image contains. Changing a DPI setting doesn't create detail that isn't there.
🖨️ Around 300 DPI is a good target for print viewed up close.
💻 Online, pixel dimensions and file size matter more than a DPI label.
📐 Larger output needs an original file with enough detail.
