🏆🎲 P&C Games Night is fast approaching, and we need a few more volunteers to complete our ALL-STARS VOLUNTEER DREAM TEAM! 🎲🏆

Head Coach & Games Referee Chauntel is looking for a few superstar team members to help make the night a success!

🏃 Hall Set-Up – Warm-Up Crew
👥 2 Volunteers Needed
🕜 From 1:30pm onwards
Pop in before school pick-up to help set up tables, decorate the hall and create our photo wall.

🎟️ Game Guides
👥 2 Volunteers Needed
🕔 5:20pm – 6:00pm
Welcome guests and help them find their tables. Perfect for anyone who can lend a hand for a short time at the start of the evening.

⭐ MVPs – Raffle Ticket Sales & Fair Play Crew
👤 1 Volunteer Needed
🕠 5:30pm – 9:30pm (or whatever time you can give)

🏁 End Zone Crew – Pack Up Team
🕘 From 9:00pm

🌟 A wonderful whole-school assembly this morning! 🌟

Congratulations to all the students who received awards or were recognised for their achievements while representing our awesome little school. We are so proud of the way you continue to strive for success both in and out of the classroom.

A special mention to our Combined Choir for another beautiful performance of Imagine. Your voices were outstanding and a highlight of the assembly. 🎶

Well done to our School Captains for doing a fantastic job hosting alongside Mrs Raffin and Mr Creighton. Thank you for leading the assembly with confidence and enthusiasm ⭐️

It was also wonderful to see so many families in attendance supporting our students and celebrating their achievements.

Well done to all our amazing students, you continue to make our school community proud 👏

✨️ Wow, what a fantastic evening at the Winter Music Concert! ✨

Our Strings, Band and Choir students showcased their incredible talent tonight, and we couldn't be prouder of each and every one of you. Your hard work, dedication and commitment to music were on full display, and what a wonderful performance it was!

A big well done to our Arts Captains, who did a wonderful job presenting throughout the evening. 👏

A huge congratulations and thank you to
Mrs Mpoumpis, Mrs Evans, Mrs Morris and
Mr U for putting together such a wonderful evening. The passion, time and effort you invest in the Music Program at Oxenford State School provides our students with amazing opportunities to learn, grow and shine. ✨️

It was also wonderful to see so many families, friends and community members filling the hall to support our students.

The incredible turnout and encouragement from the audience truly showcased the strong community spirit that makes Oxenford State School such a special place.

Nights like these remind us how fortunate we are to be part of such a supportive and connected school community.

We had to jump on the Mary trend and create a little AI poster ourselves! 🦡

Mary the Tasmanian Devil was found and is now receiving the care she needs. It seems she decided to stay right here in Oxenford! In bushland just off Kopps Road.

We think she knows what we already do...

🎶✨ Winter Music Concert Tonight! ✨🎶

Some of the P&C Executive Team and members are looking forward to attending the Winter Music Concert this evening, and we hope to see lots of families and community members there too! 🙌

The Winter Music Concert is always one of the highlights of the school calendar, giving our talented Strings, Choir and Band students the opportunity to showcase all their hard work and dedication. We love seeing our students shine on stage and sharing their musical achievements with our school community ✨️

So come along, grab a seat, and enjoy a wonderful evening of music and entertainment while supporting our amazing young performers. 🎻🎺🎤

Well... that escalated quickly! We've officially SOLD 9 TABLES already, and with limited table space - now is the time to get your team together and lock in your tickets.

Whether you're flying solo, bringing your partner, or rallying the whole crew, we'd love to see you there. 🙌

A few people have asked about dress-ups, and the answer is simple ~ have fun with it!

☕❄️ Another fantastic morning serving up warm Milos for our students! ❄️☕

Thank you to all the students and parents who visited the Milo Station this morning. Your support is greatly appreciated and helps make these mornings such a wonderful community event. 🙌

A special thank you to the team at Helping Hands Network Oxenford for generously donating the Milo and marshmallows to help keep our costs down. We truly appreciate your ongoing support of our school community.

A big thank you also to our wonderful volunteers Alana, Ang, Mel and our amazing student helpers 💚

We've loved seeing so many smiling faces enjoying a warm Milo on these chilly mornings.

We'll be back for one last Winter Milo Morning next Tuesday! 🤎💚

What a fantastic P&C Meeting this evening!

It was wonderful to see so many community members attend, ask questions, share ideas and be part of the conversation. Thank you to everyone who joined us tonight.

A quick recap from the meeting:

🚌 Approval of a donation to support bus transport for students attending upcoming Eisteddfods

🌿 Discussion around the proposed Outdoor Learning Space and quote (further discussions to continue in Term 3)

📊 School update from Mr Creighton, including student data and school initiatives

🧸 Update from Mrs Tamburro, including the upcoming PBL Teddy Bears' Picnic, student data updates and Interschool Sports

🎟️ Events and Fundraising update, including Games Night ticket sales. Tickets are on sale now, so grab yours before they sell out! We are also seeking donations of raffle prizes for the night.

👕 Uniform Shop update. Winter jackets and jumpers are currently with the embroiderer and we thank families for their patience while we await their return.
