We were delighted to welcome Steven Miller and Liz Campbell into the studio with Marg today!

Steven joined us on air to chat about Dogs in Australian Art, a fascinating exploration of the special role dogs have played in Australian art and culture throughout history.

From Indigenous depictions of dingoes to beloved canine companions featured in artworks across the centuries, Steven shared some wonderful insights into Australia’s enduring connection with our four legged friends.

A big thank you to Steven for joining us and giving our listeners a glimpse into what promises to be a fascinating presentation tonight for ArtsNational Narrabri.

Congratulations to Julie on being named Volunteer of the Year! 🏆

At 2MAXFM, we have been fortunate to have Julie as part of our station for an incredible 17 years. Her dedication, passion, and commitment to community radio have made a lasting impact on our station and the listeners we serve across the region.

Julie is also well known throughout Narrabri and Wee Waa for her involvement with the Namoi Echo Museum, her volunteer work with St Vincent de Paul, and her previous role as President of Relay for Life.

We are incredibly proud to see Julie recognised for the countless hours she gives to our community. This award is so well deserved.
