Breaking news - our Scouts are now fully kitted out with the latest safety tech thanks to Santos, who has supported us with a community grant.

We have a new set of UHF radios📻🎙 for our Scouts to use on hikes and camps, a personal locator beacon📡 for safety on long or remote expeditions, and a set of compasses🧭 to help us find our way!

Thanks for your support Santos! We look forward to testing our new gear out this weekend at Region Rally!

Another fun, exciting weekend @ Armidale Gang-show 2026 camp. The Narrabri kids danced, played instruments and acted. Scouts is all about trying new things to help build confidence, independents and life long friendships. Thanks to all the leaders and parent helpers that worked so hard to make such a great weekend.

Hall for Hire

Looking for a venue for your next gathering, meeting, party etc? 1st Narrabri West Scout hall is available for hire.

Fully fenced yard, full kitchen, mens and womens toilets, ramp access, large open indoor area, tables and chairs, evaporative air-con, fire pit, we've got everything you need.

Cost: $20 per hour or $100 per day. $200 refundable bond. Waiver form to be signed by hirer.

This weekend our Scouts headed up Mt Kaputar for a weekend of hiking with other Scouts from around the Region. They hiked nearly 20km over the weekend, and also practiced their camping and cooking skills. Bravo to our Scouts and the leaders who made the camp happen!

Our older Cubs spent the last 2 days on an overnight hiking camp in Kaputar national Park. The Cubs completed two hikes, worked on their navigation skills, and practiced cooking dinner on individual stoves.

Two of our Narrabri Cubs and one Leader have just returned from a fantastic trip to QLD for Cuboree! The theme was "Shake it up" and the kids certainly did! They went flying, abseiling, did Archery, pioneering, cooking, colour runs, discos and had an all-round great time! Thanks QLD for having our Cubs along!
