Moree parkrun Moree parkrun is a weekly, free, timed, 5km run/jog/walk put on by the community for the community The great thing is that you only ever need to do this once!

parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5km timed run, jog or walk. It can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. Moree parkrun offers an opportunity for all members of our local community, male or female, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy our beautiful river and parks and get physically active in the process. We want to encourage people to walk, jog or run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE! Taking part is easy – just register in advance by 6pm on the Friday before your first ever parkrun event. Then just set your alarm for Saturday morning and get yourself there!

🎅🎄 MOREE PARKRUN CHRISTMAS QUESTION🎄🎅

This year, Christmas Day falls on a FRIDAY… which means we have a little decision to make! 👀🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

We know some of you love the idea of a Christmas Day parkrun, but with our regular Saturday parkrun falling on Boxing Day, should we make it a double celebration? 🎁

We want to hear from YOU! 👇

🎄 OPTION 1: Keep things as usual with our regular Saturday parkrun on Boxing Day (Saturday 26 December).

🎅 OPTION 2: Go all out and hold BOTH a Christmas Day parkrun on Friday 25 December AND our regular Saturday parkrun on Boxing Day!

Two days, two parkruns, twice the festive fun! 🎉🏃‍♀️

Whether you’re keen to run, jog, walk, volunteer or just soak up the Christmas spirit, we want to know what you think.
