Find Cancer Early’s new campaign is a reminder to pay attention to changes in your health and get unusual symptoms checked.

For lung cancer, symptoms can include:
👉 A cough lasting 4 weeks or more
👉 Trouble breathing lasting 4 weeks or more
👉 Coughing up blood

Imagine wandering through beautiful gardens, discovering local art along the way, then stepping inside a fascinating post-war homestead with a story of its own.

Art in the Garden brings together the work of local artists Margaret Teasdale and Fiona Sharp, with watercolour, pastel and acrylic works celebrating WA’s native flora, fauna and coastline.

And the venue is just as interesting as the art — including a remarkable upstairs ballroom and a clever pulley system once used to lift the family piano upstairs! 🎹

After more than five decades of answering the call, Steve “Willow” Wilson has hung up his boots with the Volunteer Fire & Rescue Service.

From fires and crashes to some of the region’s most serious emergencies, Willow has been there — and along the way, he’s passed his knowledge and experience on to generations of new volunteers.
