National Volunteer Week is a time to recognise the incredible people who give their time, skills, and heart to their communities — and we are proud to celebrate ours.

The Merredin & Districts Agricultural Society would like to acknowledge all of the wonderful volunteers who step up year after year to make the Merredin Show possible. From planning and setting up, to running events, supporting exhibitors, and packing down at the end of a huge weekend — your contribution is what keeps our Show alive.

We are truly grateful for every hour, every effort, and every helping hand.

Thank you for everything you do for our community and for the Merredin Show.

It was wonderful to see so many amazing entries at the 2026 Exhibition Celebration at Cummins Theatre on Saturday.

From photography, baking, eggs, craft, art and so much more — our town is absolutely bursting with talent. Every entry brought something unique, creative and heartfelt to the showcase.

A very BIG thank‑you to everyone who has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to make the Exhibition Celebration such a huge success.

Your dedication, creativity, and countless hours of effort are greatly appreciated.

Thank you for all the hard work that went into organising the Show — which was unfortunately cancelled — and for the *extra* work you put in to give our town this wonderful Celebration instead. Your commitment to our community truly shines.

We are always on the lookout for **new committee members**. Many hands make light work, and it’s a fantastic team to be part of. If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, now is the perfect time to join in.

How spectacular were the fireworks on Saturday evening!

A very BIG thank‑you to AIM Dental for making this magical moment possible — your generous donation lit up the sky and helped us finish the day with something truly special.

Trophies are awarded for each category at the Exhibition!
For every 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, entrants earn points. Once all points are tallied, the entrant with the highest total in their category takes home the trophy.

It’s a wonderful way to recognise consistency, creativity, and excellence across multiple entries.
