CHAMPION is a community service established in 2013 and funded by the Temple Society Australia (TSA). Everyone is welcome!

It offers emergency food relief and a host of practical assistance and advisory services to help people get back on their feet. Our vision is to build a community that empowers its members to discover their worth and purpose through engagement. Our values are equality, respect, trust, acceptance and community.

We are looking forward to a beautiful day in Gusti's Garden on Cup Day!
Join us with your own lunch and a picnic blanket or garden chairs for some lawn games, good company and hot drinks. Money raised goes to our community garden!
Bookings preferred but if you just show up between 11 and 3pm, that's ok too!

On Monday night, Champion- Community Hub and Meeting Place in our Neighbourhood was very excited to hear we were the recipients of a 3 year sponsorship from the Community Bank Ferntree Gully to purchase much needed toiletries and other personal products (think toilet paper, deodorant and other personal needs) to enhance our visitors dignity and relieve our extremely tight budget for supplies.
We look forward to our new partnership with this wonderful bank that gives directly back to the community it serves!

Christmas is a time for sharing, but for many individuals and families in our community it’s one of the hardest times of the year.— your support helps us fill Christmas hampers and keep the CHAMPION Foodbank Pantry stocked.

Welcome to all our followers, both long term and newbies!
We just wanted to reach out and say hi and that we see you.
We know times are tough and the cost of living is impacting everyone in our community.
We are here to help you with the following support and assistance:
* Food relief. We have a pantry with food staples, bread, fruit and vegetables, frozen meals and other frozen food including meat, dairy like yoghurt, sanitary products and toiletries. (Please note, limits are in place and items change based on what's available).
*Referrals to other supports including financial counselling, legal help and health care services
* A weekly social activity on Monday mornings from 10-11am. The schedule is listed on our page for Term 4
* Join us for a hot drink and morning tea on a Monday or afternoon tea or pizza on a Wednesday

We are located at 51 Elizabeth Street Bayswater Vic
Open Mondays 10 to 12.30am and Wednesdays 12.30 to 3pm.
We are not open on public holidays

A Splash of Colour in the Community Garden!

Yesterday our talented garden regular, Lorraine, shared her artistic skills and demonstrated some simple pastel techniques to help capture the beauty of nature in colour.
