Goodbye.
It’s with a heavy but happy heart that Benjamin and I say goodbye to our beautiful perch’d. This little café has been such a big part of our lives, but we feel at peace stepping into a new season of life where we can slow down in our personal lives and give our full focus to our new baby — BUNA. It’s with great pleasure to let you all know we have sold and our last days as owners will be 17th November. We will be around for the week to support the new wonderful owners and assist with the transition.

This year my health and disease deteriorated to a very low point. It really put everything into perspective - life is too short and the constant hustle and fast pace lifestyle I once thrived in isn’t what I crave anymore. The passion I once had for perch’d has slowly shifted and I know in my heart it’s time to close this chapter and pass it on to someone who wants to expand and do even more beautiful things with it.

It’s been a pleasure friends, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the support. To our beautiful team past and present – thank you for being so loyal and for standing by us. This little dream of ours wouldn’t have been what it is without each of you. You’ve all played a huge part in running our business and representing our brand in a positive way. To our families, we thank you and we love you, none of this would have been possible without you all by our side.

It’s been real, the view and ride has been magical. But it’s time for us to part ways.

Blessed to enjoy this beautiful life with my family and share it all with them. Happiest of birthdays to the one who made it all possible — my Mumma. You’ve been there for every burst water pipe in the van, the events that were a total s**t show, the nights spent blow torching the floor during perch’d renos, the mental breakdowns and the cafe break-ins — but mostly, just being the most incredible Mum through it all. The back bone behind it all, our success— because of you.
