Come and meet our Musical Director, Margaret, on 12 September. No formal audition: simply sing something you enjoy so Margaret can hear your voice and vocal range.

Who do you know who enjoys singing 🎵

They don’t need to be an experienced choral singer. They simply need to enjoy singing and be interested in finding out if the Maleny Singers might be for them.

Auditions will be held on 12 Sept with our Musical Director, Margaret Taylor, to determine vocal range and answer any questions about singing with our choir.

All they need to do is prepare something they’re comfortable singing. And there’s plenty to look forward to — new members will have the opportunity to take part in:

• Our Christmas fundraiser concerts in December
• Our fully-staged 2027 production in the chorus with live orchestra

LOVE TO SING? WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU 🫶
Fresh after Patience, we’re inviting new voices to join the Maleny Singers – and you don’t need previous choir experience to be one of us.

If you enjoy singing and would like to be part of a friendly local group where music, friendship and community come together, why not book a friendly meet-and-sing with our Musical Director, Margaret Taylor, on 5 or 12 September.

Margaret likes to meet all prospective members, hear you sing and get a feel for your vocal range. You can sing anything you like – just choose something you feel comfortable singing.

LOVE TO SING?
The Maleny Singers are inviting new voices from across our community to audition for the choir.

Singers of all ages and experience levels are welcome. Join us for our Christmas fundraising concerts this December and as part of the chorus for our fully-staged production in 2027.

Join author and musician Gillian Wills for the launch of her memoir, Elvis and Me: How a Musician and a Broken Racehorse Rescued Each Other.

Gillian will be in conversation with Lea Dodd, with a special performance by tenor Nick Kirkup.
