🎭🎶 Bravo to Trio Sole!

What a wonderful afternoon of opera in Maleny! Congratulations to Vanessa West, Raffaele Pierno and Janet Brewer on a fabulous performance, and to our own Margaret Taylor OAM for bringing it all together.

On such a rainy day, it was the perfect way to brighten our weekend!

We so enjoyed seeing you bring performing arts of such a high calibre to our region. And judging by the full house, we're certainly not alone in our appreciation!

Thank you for sharing your extraordinary talents with our hinterland community. Here's to more wonderful afternoons like this! 👏🎶

Singing engages brain networks involved in sound, movement, memory, and emotion. Research suggests that singing especially with others may influence mood and certain stress-related or social-bonding responses. Group singing has also been associated with synchronized breathing and heart-rate patterns. However, the specific effects vary, and scientists have not established that singing uniquely releases three chemicals together in a way no other activity can replicate.
