Great news Queenslanders!

Ramping at our hospitals has dropped to 35.5% – the lowest it’s been since December 2020.

This is contributing to improved ambulance response times, which are better compared to the same period last year.

These results are thanks to the skill and dedication of our personnel and Queensland Health colleagues who are committed to delivering the right care at the right time.

We’re working hard to build on these results by:

🚑Recruiting 900 more QAS personnel
🚑Rolling out 170 extra ambulances
🚑Delivering more models of care

Maleny LAC ventured out to the back blocks today and paid a visit to Aspire Community Solutions who support Regional and Rural communities, providing basic human services including the provision of emergency clothing (adult & child), and accommodation, mental health support and even emergency showers. Some folk present at their door with no towel or toiletries.

The staff were so glad to receive U4K clothing and a bunch of Dude Dolls. We'll return soon with a bunch of U4K personal care bags for toiletries for their clients.
