Central Queensland Helicopter Rescue Service Ltd (BMA CQ Rescue) plays a vital role in the Mackay, Whitsunday and Bowen Basin communities of Central Queensland by providing rapid aeromedical assistance to those in need. Established in 1996, our rescue helicopter service has saved thousands of lives and our crew is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The majority of our required operational funding is donated to us by the generous community we serve.
