These two guitars signed by Birds of Tokyo , Jimmy Barnes and Jon Stevens at this year's Legends on the Lawn will soon take centre stage at our upcoming Gala auction.

Thanks to the support of Yamaha Music Mackay, and Josh from the Legends on the Lawn team, these incredible items will help raise funds to support BMA CQ Rescue's lifesaving work across our region.

BMA CQ Rescue was tasked to Laguna Quays airstrip late yesterday afternoon after a skydiver experienced a malfunction during descent and sustained injuries to his leg.

The patient received urgent aeromedical care before being transferred for further treatment to Mackay 🚁

A big thank you to the Moranbah community for welcoming the BMA CQ Rescue team to Moranbah State School's Under 8’s Day last week 🚁💙

Set up alongside our wonderful naming rights partner BMA, the team had a fantastic day meeting local families, chatting all things helicopters and rescue missions, and seeing plenty of little ones try on rescue helmets and get creative with colouring sheets.

We’re always grateful for opportunities like this to connect with the communities who continue to support BMA CQ Rescue and help keep our crews mission ready when every second counts.

A young passenger has been airlifted to Mackay in a stable condition with severe leg injuries following a serious single-vehicle rollover at Cape Palmerston earlier today.

The patient was ejected from the vehicle after the car rolled three times. BMA CQ Rescue crews worked alongside emergency services at the scene to provide urgent medical care before transporting the patient for further treatment.

Through their regular catch ups at the Queens Beach Hotel, this amazing group has now raised an incredible $50,000 over the years to help keep our rescue helicopter service flying 🚁

For the past 36 hours, the BMA CQ Rescue crew has been operating back-to-back missions across Central and North Queensland, covering more than 2,000 kilometres to deliver urgent medical care to patients in Hamilton Island, Airlie Beach, Proserpine, Lotus Creek and Bowen.

From a patient suffering a compound fracture to emergencies involving seizures, cardiac conditions and severe respiratory issues, our crews have worked around the clock to ensure critically ill and injured patients received the care they needed as quickly as possible.

Every mission is a reminder that every minute counts 🚁
