Recently we had the privilege of visiting the Mackay Tiger Moth Museum on one of our vocational visits. Its was great to see the passion and knowledge of the team there.
The work that goes into keeping these amazing machines up in the air is next level. The crew at the museum go above and beyond to create a great experience and keep these planes in mint condition.

At our weekly Wednesday night meeting we welcomed our guest speaker Lisa Jamieson from Safe Sleep Mackay. For an update on their sleep buses. All 3 buses arrived in town earlier this year and the team are now completed the final fit outs and some general bus maintenance. At the moment the buses are on track to be out on the street to proved safe sleeping to those in need early in the new year.

An other great weekly meeting at West Mackay Rotary. This week our guest speaker was past West Mackay member Bruce Howlett. Who gave us an up date on the Malaria Vaccine Project and how Rotary is having an impact world wide. Mackay West was proud to present Bruce with a check for $3000. The Mackay West Rotary Christmas Fair returns this October, bigger and brighter than ever. For two magical nights, the Mackay Showgrounds will come alive with rides, food, fireworks and fun for the whole family.
