Save the date in your diaries. All Area 14 Toastmasters members are invited to the Area Conference on 17th October. Come along and support the members of your club that are competing. There may be roles that you can fill on the day.

Pioneer Toastmaster held the 2nd of their Club Contest on Monday evening which was the Evaluation Contest. Photos Contest Chair Fiona with the participants and the winners. Well Done and congratulations to those advancing to the Area 14 Conference on 17th October 2026

Pioneer Toastmasters Mky celebrated the end of the 2025-2026 Toastmaster Year by celebrating with a handover dinner at "Goosies" North Mackay Bowls Club. Incoming Area Governor Bert dismissed the previous executive and thanked them for what they achieved in the past 12 months and then invested the new committee. Sergeant at Arms - Michael, Treasurer - Rosie, Secretary - Stephen G, VPPR - Mary, VPE - Robyn, President - Chrissy. VPM - Kerry was unable to attend the meeting. Outgoing Area 14 Governor - Stephen O congratulated the retiring Committee for what they have achieved and thanked them for their dedication. He welcomed the new committee as well as Bert the incoming Area 14 Govenor.
A hearty meal was enjoyed after the investures and was followed by 2 to 4 minute stories from each of the attendees.
We were treated to some interesting personal stories, some humorous tales with a twist that may not have been true, some very handy advice for a happy marriage and a Ghost Story.
An enjoyable meeting for all who attended.
