DONATIONS NEEDED: Mini & Travel-Sized Toiletries!

We are currently collecting travel-sized toiletries and hotel amenities to help support members of our local community. If you’ve recently travelled and brought home extra unused mini soaps, shampoos, conditioners, toothpastes, or lotions, we would love to put them to good use!

SUPPORT AT HOME CONSULTANTS- we can provide you with obligation-free advice on the type of home support you may be eligible for.

CARE FINDERS- can help solve challenges and connect a person to supports in the community, such as health, mental health, housing and homelessness, drug and alcohol services and community groups.

PERSONAL ALARMS VICTORIA- If you are an older person, living alone, managing a chronic health condition or living with a disability you may be eligible for a Victorian Government-funded personal alert system to use at home and in the garden.

LIFESTYLE VICTORIA- Free Lifestyle program to assist with Physio, gentle exercise, nutrition, medication reviews, falls prevention

Milpara Community House Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 16 September 2026 at 6:30 for a 7pm start, at the Korumburra Community Hub, meeting room 1 on the upper level.

Notice of Special Resolution: A Special Resolution will be put to the membership at the AGM to adopt amendments to the Rules of the Association. The proposal includes increasing the Committee to a maximum of seven ordinary member, and changing the definition of a quorum to a majority of the committee members holding office.

Do you love to read and chat about books.

Join Mipara's Social Book Club, Mondays 1:30 to 3:30 pm at Korumburra Community Hub.

The group reads the same book over a period, reading around 100 pages each week, & gathers weekly to chat about the progress.

It's not super serious, more social & fun for those who love enjoying books.

Pop into Milpara's office, under the Library, to sign up and collect a copy of the latest book. "The Correspondent" by Virginia Evans.

We learn through simple, practical activities in a supportive environment, helping you build confidence at your own pace for everyday life.
