Friends of Korumburra Botanic Park Friends of Korumburra Botanic Park Inc. assist the South Gippsland Shire Council & help to maintain this beautiful 12-acre space.

It is scattered with beautiful Exotic trees and Natives, and is home to the picturesque "Olsen's Walk" along Coalition Creek.

Hi Korumburra Community!!
As many of you know the Olsen's Walk area of the Korumburra Botanic Park has become overrun with weeds and requires ongoing community involvement.
Our Landcare Grant plantings are complete. We need to visit our plantings to remove any weeds which will affect their growth until they are big enough to slow down the weeds. A lot of our plants have already taken off so weeding around them will be quite rewarding! So, we need your help!
Therefore, we will be holding a weeding session on: -
Saturday 20th June 10.00 – 12.00.
Meet at the bottom car park near the Rotunda.
Please also bring your gardening gloves, secateurs, trowel & eye protection.
There will be multiple tasks to suit you from light to a bit heavier so please come along if you can if only for 1 hour.
We will also get the toilet key from the Caravan Park (if the toilets are locked) and will have a sign-in register for completion.
Weather forecast is for a few showers and an afternoon top of 14C.
