UPDATE. Dr Lillard has agreed to accept the money raised so far as a deposit to Nangulu’s surgery and the balance can be paid in 4 days. We are very grateful. Maria and Nangulu are on their way now to Kampala hospital. Thank you to everyone’s support and prayers. 🙏🏼❤️ we have $1,213 left to raise.
URGENT: $2,500 needed to save Nangulu’s life by Sunday night.

Nangulu is 16 months old and has been admitted to hospital for a second time, he only just got home but things went downhill for him. He needs life saving surgery to repair a hole in his heart which is making him very sick. He’s in a lot of pain.
My name is Mariska van der Veer and I’m the Founder of House Of Hope Foundation, ministry for orphans and vulnerable families in Uganda.
I’ve just received a phone call from American Surgeon, Dr Lillard, who is in Uganda for one more week. He is able to save Nangulu and repair his heart. Dr Lillard will cover part of the expense, but I have 24 hours to raise the remaining $2,500. Dr Lillard is returning to the United States in a week and Nangulu can’t wait any longer.
I’m reaching out in the hope that some people are able to help make a donation towards Nangulu’s surgery. Remember every dollar will helps, no amount is too small.
Our charity shop “House Of Hope Foundation” at 53 Commercial St, Korumburra is open tomorrow from 11-3 and we will have a money collection box on the counter for Nangulu.
