SPOT A COLOUR, START A CONVERSATION

Sometimes the hardest part of meeting someone new is finding the excuse to do it. This week we're handing you one. Life gets heavy, the weeks blur together, and before you know it you've gone days without a real conversation. A walk and a simple moment of connection can shift that more than you'd think.

There's something in the act of noticing another person, really noticing them, that cuts through the noise. Side-by-side, no pressure, no agenda. Just people showing up for each other.

THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE

Find someone wearing a colour you like and introduce yourself. That's it. One sentence. "Hey, I like that shirt." You'd be surprised where it goes from there.

NEW FACES, YOU'RE MORE THAN WELCOME

You don't need to book. You don't need to know anyone. You don't need to be going through something heavy to show up. Come as you are, wear whatever's in the clean pile, and let someone's bright jacket be the icebreaker for you.

📍 Meet: Wednesdays from 5:30pm at United Cinemas The Edge.
🚶 Walk It Off: 6pm Start.

One Question. One Walk. One Shift You Didn't See Coming.

There's a moment it happens for most people. You've done a few walks, you've shown up even when you didn't feel like it, and somewhere between the footpath and the fresh air, something quietly shifts. The way you think about your own head starts to change.

That's the question we're putting out to our regulars this week: "How has your perspective on mental health changed since you started walking?" Because real answers from real people, no fluff, no textbook stuff, are worth more than anything we could put in a brochure.

If you're new, or thinking about showing up for the first time, here's what you need to know. No booking. No pressure to talk. Just a group of people moving side-by-side, and the option to say as much or as little as you want. You might find your own perspective starts shifting sooner than you think.

📍 Meet: 5:30pm at United Cinemas The Edge .
🚶 Walk It Off: 6pm Start.

If you've been on the fence, this is your week to just show up and listen. And if you're a regular, we'd love to hear your answer.

ON A SCALE OF 1 TO 10, HOW ARE YOU REALLY FEELING?

Not the "yeah nah I'm fine" answer. The real one.

Most of us walk around carrying a number we never say out loud. Could be a 4. Could be a 6. Could be a 2 that we've been telling everyone is an 8. Life has a way of piling on quietly — work, money, family, the stuff that sits heavy at 2am — and before you know it, you're running on empty and wondering why.

That's exactly why we show up every single week. Not to fix anything. Not to have all the answers. Just to walk side-by-side with people who get it, and let the feet do what the brain struggles to do on its own.

This week, when you rock up, your number is welcome. A 3, a 7, a "honestly I don't even know" — all of it belongs here. You don't have to share it. But if you do, you won't be judged for it.

New faces are always welcome. No bookings, no pressure, no need to say a word if you'd rather just walk. Just show up and fall into step with us. That's it.

📍 Meet: United Cinemas The Edge at 5:30pm for a chat.

Mid-week can hit hard. The to-do list is piling up, the mental load is real, and it's easy to get stuck in your own head. Sometimes all it takes is one simple question to shift the weight a little.

This week on the walk, we're asking the person next to us: "What's the best thing that happened to you this week?" It sounds small. It isn't. That one question opens a door, and you'd be surprised what walks through it when people feel safe enough to answer honestly.

If you've been thinking about coming along but haven't made it yet, this week is a great time to show up. No need to book, no pressure to share anything you're not ready for, and no judgment if the honest answer to that question is "I'm still looking for it." You'll walk side-by-side with people who get it, and sometimes that's enough.

WHEN DID YOU LAST TELL SOMEONE THEY MATTER?

Life moves fast. Bills pile up, work doesn't stop, and the people around us who hold us together often go unnoticed. This week we're keeping it simple: tell one person in your life one thing you genuinely appreciate about them. That's it. No grand gesture, just an honest word between two people. You'd be surprised what that can do for both of you.

This week we're walking side-by-side and leaning into that idea together. Because sometimes the best conversations happen when you're moving, not sitting across a table trying to find the right words.

New faces, you are more than welcome. No need to book, no need to talk if you're not feeling it, and absolutely no judgment. Just show up, fall in step, and see how it feels. Bring a mate if you want to, or come on your own and meet one here.
