BMD is a small, charitable organisation working to change the lives of cats- whether that be through rehoming, TNR programs with full feeding to prevent predator behaviours, and through education and awareness! Our small but dedicated team work around the clock to assist with rescues, rehoming, education, general questions, the care of cats and

kittens, and almost anything else to do with cats. We are always on the lookout for more volunteers or foster carers. BMD is funded through our op-shop, which is located at 114 Bathurst Road in Katoomba next to the antiques arcade. Feel free to drop in and take a look at some of our old wares, and, if you are able, drop off some donations for the cats! The donations through the shop fund our vet bills, food and medication costs, and keep our foster cats happy and healthy! Donations can be made by the donation button or via our bank details. Sammy, this charming little guy with his cute moustache, is about 5.5 months old and full of personality. He is eagerly searching for his forever home.

Cricket, our ginger girl with her big beautiful eyes is about 3.5 months old and sure to steal your heart. She too is looking for a loving family to call her own.

Both kittens are incredibly affectionate and get along well with everyone - humans, cats and kittens and dogs making them the perfect addition to any family.

SHADOW AND CUSTARD - A PERFECT PAIR 🐾♥️

After losing his brother, Zoro, Shadow was lonely and sad avoiding his fellow kittens and often crying.

But then along came Custard. This little bossy boots quickly became attached to Shadow, despite her usual disinterest in the other kittens.

In their new home Custard has made it clear she is the boss and Shadow, with his gentle and loving nature, doesn’t mind one bit. Together they share a heartwarming bond in their wonderful forever home with Alexandria and her family. 🏠✨

BANDIT - A VERY HAPPY CAT😺

Exciting news everyone! I have found my forever home, and I couldn’t be happier. 🏠♥️

I was quite worried after injuring my paw and shoulder right before my meet and greet. However, I shouldn’t have worried - Brooklyn was so understanding and didn’t mind waiting for me to heal.

Now, I am the only kitty here which means I get all the cuddles and attention - I don’t have to share.

Thank you so much Brooklyn for giving me the perfect forever home. I can’t wait to enjoy every moment with you. 🐾
