Thanks very much to Blue Mountains Clay Collective Inc for what has become an ongoing fundraising effort. It is only with the support of people like Linda and the Clay Collective team that we are able to provide much needed services to the community. We are very thankful.

The Blue Mountains Clay Collective is inviting local businesses, artists, restaurants, hotels and community supporters to help make this year’s Empty Bowls fundraiser bigger than ever.

We’re currently seeking donations of auction items and raffle prizes to help raise vital funds for Junction 142 and their incredible work supporting people facing hardship in our community.

Every donated item helps make a real difference — whether it’s artwork, vouchers, accommodation stays, dining experiences, gift hampers, handmade goods, wellness packages, books, wine, experiences or unique local treasures.

By contributing, you’ll not only support a meaningful community event, but also gain valuable exposure while helping provide food, care and dignity for those in crisis.

So we have almost run out of these. If you have some please bring them along as they are extremely useful to us. Our manager is on site Tuesday to Friday from 10 to 3.

We get through a lot of these and need more! If you have any to spare please drop them to us at Junction 142. Our manager, Stephen is on site Tuesday to Friday 10am to 3pm.

Link Wentworth Housing’s Community Hub is back at Junction 142 tomorrow 5th May at 11am. As well as the usual wide range of services, free flu shots will be available.
The Hub coincides with Junction 142’s Open Table Food Services, and Shower and Laundry Service, both of which open at 10am.

.142 there is a local market complementing our Sweet Charity Op-Shop, running from Thursday and across the Easter Long Weekend. Come and grab some local handmade jam, teas, jewellery, and see our creative space that now exhibits art from the Blue Mountains and beyond!

The first Community Hub of the year is taking place tomorrow Tuesday 3 March at 11am in the church at Junction 142.
See the Link Wentworth Housing post below for details of all the agencies involved.
This coincides with our Open Table breakfast and hamper service, and our free Shower and Laundry Service, both of which open at 10am.

Community Support Hubs are back next week in these locations:

📍 Penrith at Thornton Community Centre | 11am – 1pm Monday 2 March
Talk with the RSPCA about their free cat de-sexing and microchipping program. Plus free pizza!

📍 Katoomba at Junction 142 | 11am – 1pm Tuesday 3 March | Free BBQ lunch

📍Ryde at St Anne’s Church | 11am – 1pm Thursday 5 March | Free BBQ lunch

Why come to a Community Support Hub?
Hubs bring together a whole range of service providers who can help with your tenancy, finances, health and more. We have free dog food to take home for your four-legged friends and some blanket donations to give away.
