State Rally is the biggest, annual state-wide Scout event in the NSW Scout calendar. This event is open to ALL Scouts in NSW. The theme for 2026 will be - Race Against Time! State Rally 2026 will be held at Cataract Activity Centre, Baden Powell Drive Appin. Join us for State Rally 2026 from 7th August - 9th August 2026.

Oatley Bay Sea Scout leader Mark Connell awarded OAM.

Huge congratulations to Mark Connell, receiving Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) – For service to youth through Scouting.

Everyone from 1st Oatley Bay Scout Group have reason to be proud of their Group Leader, who was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia in today's Honours list. Mark has been a member of the Group since 1968, and has worn many hats in that time, including as President and delegate for the Scouts NSW Rover Scout section. He has also been a committee member for the South Metropolitan Region Cub Scout "Palaver" in 2002-2008, and received his Wood Badge in 2008. Congratulations Mark!
