Tomorrow is another Parkrun Day!! Bring your jackets, there may be a little drizzle, but don't let mother nature stop you from starting your day with your intrepid Whitford Nodes Team!! 🌦️🌦️🌈

Our roster is full, yay! Thank you to all those volunteers who put their names down nice and early, but it is quite scarse for the following weeks, so you know the drill! 🆘🆘

Whitfords Nodes Parkrun Event number 379 29th August 2026

This week 83 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 24 were first timers and 13 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 10 different clubs took part.

The event was made possible by 10 volunteers:

Whitfords Nodes parkrun started on 18th November 2017. Since then 7,272 participants have completed 30,943 Parkruns covering a total distance of 154,715 km, including 4,976 new Personal Bests. A total of 690 individuals have volunteered 3,136 times.

Check out the start of the last weekend in winter for 2026!!!

With a full roster, unless you'd like to volunteer as our photographer, there's no excuse to not turn up for a lovely run or walk!!

Sadly, the roster after that is looking very grim, so please check out your schedules and put your hand up, nice and early.

Stressing about filling our volunteer roster is bad for our hearts and our hair colour!!!

Absolutely brilliant morning for National Youth Volunteer Week.
