Community Public warning
After some challenges, the City has finally reinstated the Asbestos Warning signage - somehow they didn't notice they were missing??

Its been a hard campaign to get our City of Joondalup move to deal with the threat of asbestos fines in our coastal dines. Thanks to PerthNow the beach going public are better informed. We will get those large warning signs back!

One sample contained ‘very low levels’ of asbestos fines - this is the most hazardous form of asbestos, as it can become airborne.

Great news for the bushland at Mullaloo! 🌿

I joined Minister Jackie Jarvis MLC to congratulate Mullaloo Community Inc. on receiving a Community Stewardship Grant through the Cook Government’s $7 million investment that supports community led environmental projects across WA.

This grant will help restore native vegetation, improve dune resilience and enhance the coastal corridor along the Mullaloo foreshore.

A huge thank you to all the dedicated volunteers for protecting and caring for our beautiful coastline. 💚
