Another great Sunday training session making sure everyone can pump water from the dams and tanks as we don’t have mains water in Greendale. Our Juniors learn the same important skills, and have fun with the fire trucks as well.

After a fire comes the messy but essential work of blacking out - all areas have to be checked and additional water applied as the fire can continue in the ground as roots and stumps continue to burn. This stops the fire πŸ”₯ coming back to life - which it did at one time and our crew was chasing it!
Great job everyone πŸ‘
