Our guest speaker today - exciting!
Little Tern Farm is a 1.3 acre permaculture farm located in the Clarence Valley, NSW. Originally bushland that unfortunately was cleared for large rural blocks turned into a blank canvas for a little family (our little family!) to regenerate the land & build our dream life and our legacy. Buying land wasn’t the plan, but the opportunity presented itself & we felt responsible to regenerate our little slice of paradise. This is where it all started. We consulted with Geoff Lawton to develop the mainframe design (which was an incredible opportunity to learn from the best!) & then Cas designed the details of every square metre of the property before Christiaan & his dad did the grunt work to bring it to life! We have spent the past 4+ years implementing the design, adapting it where needed & building the life & lifestyle of our dreams and we are not finished yet. Little Tern Farm embodies the permaculture ethics of earth care, people care & fair share and the 12 principles of permaculture design in everything we do here 🍄 We look forward to sharing more about our permaculture design & life in 2026!
