Some photos (with permission from photographer to use here) of the ' behind the scene' at the Clarence Valley Aviation Brigade this past week. Brigade members worked with and supported the following aircraft tasked to the Shannondale & Jackys Creek fires :
Helicopter FireBird FB283 which flew the Air Attack Supervisor over and around the fireground giving and receiving valuable intel to/from ground crews including Groupies and Support personnel; two bright yellow Fireboss Aircraft : bombers B799 & B266 that scooped water from the Clarence River; helicoptors: Helitak HT791 & HT222 tasked with bucketing plus FB229 support and bucketing tasks. We salute the amazing pilots and aircraft crew that have worked so hard to suppress the fires, support ground crew and protect our community. Thanks from the Clarence Valley Aviation Brigade.
