This is Erik.

Erik is from Berlin, Germany and he came to Australia on a spiritual journey to gain life experiences and what he hoped would be wisdom. Erik was seeking out different religions to try and understand God. He ran out of money whilst he was here and ended up homeless in Surfers Paradise.

When Erik was on the streets in Surfers, he felt like God said to him to wait and watch what He would do. Erik was in Surfers Paradise and he met a man who told him that he knew where Jesus was. This led Erik on a wild adventure that ended up landing him at the Transformations conference at Presence Church. Erik was moved by the Holy Spirit at the conference and he ended up admitting himself into the program.

Erik lost his father at a young age due to substance addiction and Erik himself has battled with substance use and Erik does not have access to Centrelink, he does not have savings and his family in Germany do not have money to fund Erik completing the Transformations Program.

It costs $1000 a fortnight to have Erik in program and he is currently unfunded. If Erik isn’t in the program, he would be on the streets, vulnerable to further substance use and struggling to find hope.
